It's complicated. In all seriousness, that's exactly what it was! We met early on in our freshman year at Clarke University. We both started playing lacrosse (a sport neither of us had ever played before college) and took Spanish class together. It wasn't long before, December 2nd of 2016, that Rebecca declared Roane to be her best friend. The years went on and the memories were made as best friends until both of us realized we wanted to be more than friends. On July 6th, 2020 Roane asked Rebecca to be her girlfriend. We moved in together in August of 2022 and Roane proposed to Rebecca in a weekend getaway trip to Minneapolis in March 2024. Not long after, Rebecca proposed to Roane in April 2024! We have had every title in the book when it comes to our relationship- the epitome of best friends to lovers. We are beyond excited for April 5, 2025- to declare our last title together as WIVES!!
