Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Ro Hurley and Nick Vass
Wayne and Philadelphia are two very special places to us, and we are so grateful to have you here to celebrate in both of them! Nick spent several years in the town of Wayne, PA, attending Cabrini University, less than a half a mile from where Ro lived her whole life! They unknowingly lived along side each other, likely in the same Chipotle and Great American Pub lines, for all those years. Nick and Ro finally met in Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love, in October 2021.
Our Favorite Philadelphia Restaurants

Our Favorite Philadelphia Restaurants

The Love: One of the famous Stephen Starr Restaurants where we had one of our first dates Trattoria Carina: Modern Italian food served in an intimate corner restaurant. Nick's favorite: chicken parmesan ("chick permish"). Ro's favorite: Almyra: modern Greek cuisine with very fun, lively vibes Giuseppe & Son's: One of the famous Michael Schulson's resturants, located underground. Moody, speak-easy vibes with great Italian food. We highly recommend their table-side mozzarella! Parc: Located along Rittenhouse Square, an iconic Philly staple with French cuisine. Amazing for brunch, French Onion Soup, and Steak Frites. Harp & Crown: great food, drinks, ambiance, very close to Union League

Our Favorite Philadelphia Bars

Our Favorite Philadelphia Bars

Pub & Kitchen: Delicious, up-scale bar food and good cocktails where you can find us most weekends. 15 minute walk from Union League Black Sheep Pub: a favorite Irish pub where we have formed many memories with friends! 10 minute walk from Union League. Ladder 15: formally known as a sports-bar, but also known through Nick and Ro's early years in Philly as the "Friday night bar". Ladder15 is also where Nick and Ro met, and the wedding after-party location! 1 block from Union League. The Ritz Carlton's Lobby Bar: looking for a close place to grab a drink near Union League? We recommend stopping by "The Ritz" and grabbing a seat around their lobby bar. 1 block from Union League.

Rittenhouse Square

Rittenhouse Square

1800 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA 19103

Visit the very location where Nick proposed (south-west corner)! A gorgeous park surrounded by several of our favorite restaurants and entertained by a Saturday morning Farmer's Market that Ro & Nick frequently visit. The "Square" is about a 10 minute walk from Union League. If you are looking to dine, you can't go wrong with any restaurant that faces the square!

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Philadelphia Museum of Art

Formally known as the Philadelphia Art Museum, this location is also known by many as where the iconic Rocky Steps and Rocky statue are. Take a jog up and down the steps to earn your champagne!
