We met on Tinder in the midst of the global COVID-19 Pandemic just a few weeks after our entire university was sent off campus for the remainder of the school year. We were living in two different cities and remained just friends for about a year until we both took a chance on one another. What was planned to just be a friend in lonely and scary times, ended up being something much bigger. The second half of our sophomore year of college contained of a lot of time spent together, binge watching iCarly in our dorms, very late nights of just talking and getting to know one another more, as well as many late night QT runs. After all of those times together we just stuck around one another and fell in love.

We attended the Mizzou homecoming football game in 2022. Both of our families were there and around us. As we were just standing at the game, right in front of the gates, KeShon got down on one knee and popped the question.
