WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!

This was the biggest surprise of my entire life! Jon Jon had told me that he was going to be in his friends photoshoot a week prior to this day. He asked me if I wanted to come to support and of course I said yes! Little did I know I had to wake up at 5:30am for this "photoshoot". I forgot to turn on an alarm and woke up at 6am (to him telling me he's almost at my house) instead! Classic. So, I roll out of bed, slip into the clothes I wore the night before, quickly brushed my teeth and rushed out of the door. We joked and laughed the whole way to "Top of the World", a beautiful mountain top that holds so much significance to the both of us. We got there right on time for sunrise. Time seemed to have slowed down yet fly by at the same time. Little did I know... this would be the moment I would say "yes" to standing by my best friend forever. He gets down on a knee and me? Well... I blacked out... I can’t remember but thank God for videos, right! All that to say, it was perfect! This is a dream come true. -D

Our story is still being written but so far it has been a wild journey! We can't celebrate this moment without recognizing the fact that only by God's grace do we get to celebrate our wedding on January 17th, 2020. We don't want this wedding to be about the lights that will be turned off, the flowers that will disintegrate, the food that will be eaten or the handouts that will most likely be thrown away. We want this wedding to be a big celebration of how good God is. May it be remembered for the laughs, the memories, the wild dancing and crazy amount of joy we are about to experience.
