We're getting married!

Latrice and Tyler lived on the same floor of the same dorm during the 2015-2016 school year at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. They'd exchange the occasional "hey" or subtle head nod, just enough to be polite, but not enough to spark anything... yet. Time did its thing. Tyler graduated in May 2018, and Latrice followed in December. Somewhere along the way, they followed each other on Snapchat and Instagram. Fast forward to February 2020: Tyler slid into Latrice's Snapchat DMs (respectfully, of course), replied to a few of her stories, and eventually asked her out for lunch. Unfortunately, COVID had other plans, and Latrice had to politely decline. Still, Tyler continued to reach out occasionally on social media. Then came April 22, 2020, the day Tyler commented on one of Latrice's Instagram stories and they finally exchanged numbers. From there, it was game on. They spent hours on FaceTime, getting to know each other behind the likes and emojis, building a bond based on genuine connection and great conversation. On May 30, 2020, they had their first "quarantine date" at Tyler's place, where he set up a thoughtful "Sip & Paint" activity and bought them burgers & fries from Top-Notch. That night also marked their first kiss, an unforgettable moment that sparked the beautiful journey they've shared ever since. Since then, they've traveled, grown, laughed until they cried, and loved harder than either of them thought possible. They're incredibly grateful for every twist, turn, and head nod that led them here, and they can't wait to keep doing life together, forever.
