Andrew is Alec's older brother and has always been someone Alec has looked to for guidance, good times, and everything in between. They enjoy every second spent together even if that does include the typical brotherly activity of roughhousing or arguing/debating. They spend their time golfing, going to concerts, and attending each other's friend gatherings and parties.

Allison is Alec’s sister-in-law. Allison helped Morgan with the process of entering the Ratto family, including suggesting to Morgan to bring a bottle of Rombauer to the first meeting with the parents (thank you Allison)! Morgan and Alec and excited for the countless family memories to be shared with Allison.
Joseph D'Andre

Joseph (Joey) and Alec met at the age of 5 in their kindergarten class and have been best friends ever since. The two even had a celeb couple nickname coined, AlJo, which is still used to this day. Even when they attended different high schools and had separate friend groups, they still spent significant time together and with each other's families. Now, they live just fifteen minutes away from each other and continue spending time together going to pumpkin patches, concerts, and shooting pool at the local pool hall.

Lacy and Morgan met as coworkers in Nevada county and instantly clicked. Over many late night shifts managing people in crisis, making difficult decisions, and celebrating successes, Lacy and Morgan quickly became very close friends. Just being around Lacy, you can feel how she brings fun energy to any situation. Together they have enjoyed celebrating new places, eating good food, a shared love of the 49ers, and of course dogs.
James Kline

James (Jamie) Kine is Alec's cousin, who might as well have been a second brother in Andrew and Alec's lives while growing up. Countless family vacations at the beach, in the mountains, and each other's hometowns created a close familial tie from the Johnstone (mother's) side of the family.
Lauren Bittner

Lauren and Morgan met when Lauren was her teacher’s assistant for her first class of graduate school at Santa Clara university (Morgan got an A). They became close friends after being roommates for a study abroad trip in Costa Rica and have been friends ever since! They share a love for good food, deep conversations and petting every dog in sight!
Kyle White

Kyle and Alec met in preschool, just after they learned to talk (and both did so sparingly). The two have spent countless hours together and even introduced their mother's and father's to one another. They had a separation after preschool, going to different schools, but when they reunited in high school the friendship continued as if no time had passed at all.

Emily was a friend of Alec’s from college that became the best bonus for Morgan. Emily is such a kind positive human that has quickly became one of Morgan’s close friends. Emily is one of the kindest individuals that really wants the best for everyone around her. Even when things seem to go wrong, she always finds a way to find the humor in the situation. Emily and Morgan share a love of games, good food, being around friends and loving on their dogs (who both happened to be nicknamed “Lu”)
Matthew Burke

Matthew (Matt) Burke is a close friend of Alec's that he met in his first year of college at Santa Clara University. Matt is often described as a Golden Retriever, he is always looking for some fun activity (such as fetching our golf balls out of the woods), is without a doubt the most loyal person anyone could encounter, and absolutely adores other dogs. Matt and Alec’s relationship has grown even closer since then from playdates with their dogs and their significant others.
Olivia Maritz

Olivia and Morgan met in grad school at Santa Clara University, where they were partnered up to be each other’s therapists in their first class of therapy school. The friendship grew quickly and little did they know Olivia would introduce Morgan to her future husband! Olivia and Morgan both enjoy self care together, including random trips to target, pedicures, and spoiling their fur babies.

Anthony (Tony) and Alec met in their first couple days of college at Santa Clara University. Tony was a major part of Alec feeling comfort and growing into himself in his time after high school. Tony and his now wife, Olivia, introduced Alec and Morgan at Tony's 30th birthday party in Carmel-by-the-sea. Since then the two have remained close friend's enjoying time together golfing and dining out on with their significant others in Marin and Carmel
