It was a fateful day one evening at Baynes Hall at North Carolina Central University when Johnnie Hudson pulled up with a new producer to the area Mike aka Mike Blayz. They were starting a new record label called Trademark and Blayz was looking for a “sanger”. Johnnie advised Blayz that UNCC had just what he was looking for! Even Blayz didn’t know at the time how literal that was! lol. That singer was Annie Adams, ME! So I came downstairs to meet them and As I got into Johnnie's black navigator, I saw a man with the most beautiful eyes, and I fell at that moment. While it was not an instant connection (because he was playing hard to get), I was crushing hard, and over time, we connected! We have been through good times and bad times but during all those times God was there and knew what the ultimate plan would be! Never wavering from the love we have for each other, we are excited to embrace this new chapter in our lives and are so glad that you are here to share it with us. We wish those who have gone on before us, Carrie Morris, Arthur Adams, Johnnie Hudson, Edward Chambers, Ciroc Pop, Leviticus Black just to name a few would be here to witness this union as well, but we know they are here in spirit, and we keep them in our hearts!
