We're getting married!

Our love story is an interesting one! We met in elementary school and Mason tended to avoid Morgan because he was a typical rough boy on the playground. As we entered middle school, we went to two different rival schools and went years without seeing each other. Our paths crossed yet again when we were in high school and Morgan was dating Mason's best friend. Morgan and his girlfriend later broke up and he began to reach out to Mason and show increasing interest in her. At first, Mason wouldn't give him the time of day and even stood him up when he asked her out on Valentine's day! However, Morgan was persistent, and eventually, we began dating. We have been inseparable since the summer of 2016!

Morgan took Mason to one of their favorite spots in Downtown Lynchburg to walk Morgan's dogs. This is something that we love to do all throughout the year, so Mason didn't really think anything about it. As we got downtown, we walked down the riverwalk and eventually went down beside the river. Mason noticed that Morgan was putting a lot of thought into where would be a good spot for a picture and they finally made it to the end of an island that overlooked the water. Mason turned to look for "fishermen" that Morgan said he saw, and when she turned back around, Morgan was down on his knee. This was such a special day for us and it could not have been more perfect.
