Both our ceremony and reception will be held at The Sutherland— located at 13371 Wake Union Church Road in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
There will be plenty of parking at The Sutherland. If you will be drinking, you will need to arrange for a ride home whether that be through a ride service or using a designated driver. Keep in mind that any cars left at the venue will need to be moved by 10:00 am the following morning.
We’ll be serving Prosecco before the ceremony and offering a full open bar during cocktail hour and the reception. The venue doesn’t allow outside alcohol (anything brought in may be confiscated), and shots won’t be served per their policy. But don’t worry, there’ll be plenty of drinks to keep the celebration flowing!
The Dress Code: Cocktail Attire Think “dress to impress,” but keep it fun and comfortable! For the Gents: Suits or dress pants with a button-up shirt and a jacket or blazer are great options. Nice sneakers or dress shoes will finish the look! The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place outdoors, with the reception in a mixed indoor/outdoor space. It may be warm—so if the weather calls for it, feel free to skip the jacket or full suit. For the Ladies: Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all perfect choices. Florals and bold colors are totally welcome! We kindly ask that you avoid wearing white. The bridesmaids will be in shades of light blue, so you may want to steer clear of those tones if you’d rather not match. In short: Look sharp, feel great, and have fun with it! We want everyone to feel like their best, most colorful, and comfortable selves as we dance the night away.
Please RSVP by August 27th, 2025. This will give us plenty of time to coordinate with our vendors and ensure everything runs smoothly for the big day!
