What To Know

Please Note: We have chosen not to have a sit-down dinner after the ceremony. Instead, we have decided to do passed hors d'oeuvres, self-serve appetizers, and an extended cocktail hour. There will be no seating chart, but standing and sitting tables will be provided and available for guests.
Question

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM, we recommend you arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to get dropped off/park and take your seats. Our cocktail bar will be open prior to the ceremony starting, so feel free to give yourselves time to grab a drink before we begin!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Although this is a backyard wedding venue, our dress code is Cocktail Attire. For Women, this includes options such as midi and maxi dresses, jumpsuits, and semi-formal dresses. For Men, options such as dress shirts, khakis/ formal pants, and optional ties and sport coats are encouraged. Please no jeans or denim!

Question

Can I bring a guest/+1s not listed on the invitation?

Answer

Due to limited space/food/alcohol, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

Again, due to many factors including space, we respectfully request no children. We love your children, but this will be an adult only event, besides our flower girl. We hope you take this opportunity to enjoy a date night with your significant other or a night out to yourself!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both take place outdoors. If there is an event of rain, we will move the event into the reception tent located in the yard. Due to this being an outdoor wedding please be mindful of your shoe choices, such as thicker heels for women due to grass.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an Unplugged Ceremony (no phones or cameras!). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I DO". We have hired a very talented and professional photographer to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. Before and After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you would like. We can't wait to see our day from your point of view!

Question

The most important question of all: Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We have chosen to provide a completely open bar, including beer, seltzers, and cocktails/signature drinks. Our only request is that you PLEASE BRING CASH TO TIP YOUR BARTENDERS!

For all the days along the way
