Yes, yes, we know. Another pandemic relationship! As much as we hate the fact that we met in the midst of Covid, I'm not sure where we would be without it. Josh and I first met just before the lockdown happened. We went to One Tree Cider House in Spokane where we talked about our jobs, what we did for fun, and about his son Landon. Not sure where this would lead, we decided to continue on and go to a local brewery down the street. We chatted for another hour or so and he asked me I wanted to go to another bar to meet up with his friends for karaoke (unbeknownst to me, this was his backup plan if the date didn't work out LOL). I said I needed to think about it and he said he would run to the bathroom while I did. But before he left, he did something so smooth, I couldn't say no to his request: he laid the biggest smooch on me. "How freaking smooth," I thought to myself. Of course, I went to the karaoke bar with him, and as soon as we got there he belted out "Good Directions" by Billy Currington and the rest is history. Though our time has together hasn't been the longest, we have been through so much together; getting stranded by a riverside while floating with friends, countless parties, trips, loads of laughter, moving in together and then moving across the state, and the most wonderful experience of them all, bringing our baby girl, Charlotte, into this world. Life together is unpredictable and can be challenging at times, but all of the support, happiness, and love is why we cannot wait to tie the knot!
