We're Getting Married (God Willing)!!!

We met in 2010 as missionary teachers in training in South Korea.   Rebecca said one thing and Vic said another which led to mutual dislike.  Despite this, most of our peers seemed to think that we would end up together and (much to our disbelief/disgust at the time), one even stated that we would get married in the future.  Well, that was 10 years ago and sure enough, we're getting married!  During our time abroad, we realized that we shared mutual interests/passions and started spending more time together online* and eventually offline.  We upgraded to a long distance relationship after finishing our year of service.  Four years later Rebecca moved from NY to California for graduate school. Since then, we’ve been able to enjoy the wonders and joys of a normal distance relationship. These past 9 years have taught us more about ourselves, each other, and how to rely on God together for guidance through the highs and the lows. We still have more growing to do but we look forward to doing so together! *Rebecca was placed in Seoul where she got to enjoy the city life in her down time while Vic was sent to the boonies. Eventually the director took pity on him and placed him back in Seoul. Much to Vic's utter joy and excitement, he was reunited with Rebecca again who obviously was the highlight of South Korea for him. :)
