There are many great hotel and Airbnb options throughout the Chattanooga area. For convenience, we recommend staying near the St. Elmo or downtown areas. Visit our travel page for more information.

Where will the wedding ceremony take place?
Answer
The ceremony will take place at Snoopers Rock in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This scenic overlook offers beautiful views of the Tennessee River Gorge and the surrounding mountains.

Is there a restroom at the ceremony location?
Answer
Snooper's Rock is located within the Prentice Cooper State Forest, which is a primitive area with very limited amenities. Last Stop for Restrooms: Plan to use the facilities at businesses on Signal Mountain Road before you make the drive to the overlook area.

Is Snooper’s Rock accessible by wheelchair?
Answer
The ceremony and overlook area are a very short walk from the parking lot, but the location is not wheelchair accessible.

What should I wear to the ceremony?

This will be a spring wedding held outdoors. Guests are encouraged to wear polished wedding attire suitable for an outdoor celebration.

We recommend arriving 15 minutes early (4:45 PM) to ensure a timely start to the ceremony.

Guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from Snooper’s Rock.

Yes, Snoopers Rock requires a short (approximately 100 yards), easy walk from the parking area. Guests should plan accordingly and wear comfortable shoes if needed.

Seating will be limited. Guests may be standing for part or all of the ceremony.

Parking at Snoopers Rock is limited and shared with other visitors. We recommend arriving early and allowing extra time for parking and the short walk to the ceremony site.
