What is the dress code?

Formal garden attire is recommended. Think elegant, festive, and perfect for a romantic hilltop evening. Please note we recommend avoiding stiletto heels due to grass and uneven terrain.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

Our celebration will take place at the hilltop at Tanaka Farms in Irvine, California. The ceremony will be held on the grass, followed by dinner and dancing in the hilltop tent area—all in one dreamy location with sunset views.

How do we get to Tanaka Farms?

Answer

Tanaka Farms is located at 5380 ¾ University Drive in Irvine, just off the 405 freeway and near the San Diego Creek. They are highly accessible whether you are traveling from Los Angeles to the north or San Diego to the south. Coming from the North (Los Angeles / Long Beach)Take the I-405 South toward San Diego. Exit at University Drive and turn right. Drive for about 1.5 miles, then turn left onto Strawberry Farms Road (which will be clearly marked). Proceed through the main entrance into the parking area, where attendants will direct you. Coming from the South (San Diego / South Orange County)Take the I-405 North toward Los Angeles. Exit at University Drive and turn right. Continue straight for approximately 1.5 miles and turn left onto Strawberry Farms Road. Turn into the farm, proceed past the main entrance, and follow staff directions to the designated parking lot. Once you arrive, follow the signage at the entrance on the right directing guests to the hilltop celebration area.

How do we get to the hilltop?

Answer

Guests will be transported via tractor shuttle up to the hilltop, running every 10 minutes from the main entrance. Consider it part of the fun as we head up to celebrate together. Please note, this is not located at Strawberry Farms Golf Course.

Parking is available at the front gates of Tanaka Farms. Rideshare drop-off is also at the front entrance.

Will food accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes. We will accommodate dietary needs and allergies that have been shared with the bride and groom in advance.

Where should we stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved for your convenience, and we’d love for you to join us there so we can keep the celebration going together. That said, there are also plenty of nearby hotels and Airbnbs in the surrounding area if you prefer more flexibility.

What is the closest airport?

Answer

The closest airport is John Wayne Airport (SNA), about 15–20 minutes away from Tanaka Farms. Long Beach Airport (LGB) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) are also nearby options depending on travel plans.

What time is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding celebration will take place from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. We recommend arriving a little early to allow time for parking, check-in, and taking the tractor shuttle up to the Hilltop.
