So somewhere between 10/31-11/1/2018 we met. We argue over what day this anniversary falls on. Rj was a doctor and Chan was an R&B Singer (Not one in particular just an R&B singer). So obviously this was Halloween and Rj was covered in blood and bandages, yet Chan still wanted to say hello. You see we spoke on Instagram for a couple of weeks before we ran into each other that night at the Ainsworth Chelsea. Rewind earlier that day, Rj didn't even want to go out for Halloween. He drove all the way home and was chillin' watching TV and his friend Terry was going to go out alone. Even though he had been comfortably watching TV he got up and threw on some prop scrubs and some blood and the bandages (mentioned before) met his friend in the city to head to the Ainsworth. Now back to this moment...... So Rj was good and drunk when Chan tapped Rj on the shoulder. Rj looked at Chan for a moment like "who the hell is this, please don't be a fan" and then he remembered the handsome young man he'd be chatting with. Totally out of character Rj hugged Chan then looked into Chan's eyes and something in them told Rj to dance with Chan. They danced the night away and even shared a very very drunk unexpected albeit amazing kiss. They talked again the next day on Instagram and exchanged numbers. After a couple of weeks Rj met Chan outside his building the day before Thanksgiving and we sat in the car talking for hours. That brings us to the loving couple we are today because of hours and hours spent sitting in the car just talking listening to music.

Me being the romantic that I am I wanted to make a big big gesture. So I contacted Chan's friends to setup a flash mob proposal. I asked Quana to choreograph it and while me and Dontel gathered Chan and my friends. After a month and half of trying to get this idea off the ground it came down to time and opportunity. The big gesture was great but I remembered babe don't like surprises. How do you propose to someone who doesn't like surprises. You make it as low key as possible and make sure his best friends are somehow there (Sorry Bre blame Dontel and Quana). We flew to Miami for Carnival had an amazing time as we always do when we are together. We stayed at this beautiful Airbnb with this amazing pergola next to the pool. We had went to dinner and were planning on going out so I put Chan in the bed to take a nap because if anyone knows Chan he can fall asleep at the drop of hat in any situation. I told him I needed to film something for my show by the pool. So I go outside with my bag and proceed to set up a candle lit walk way to the pergola at the end of the pergola was rose petals in our favorite color blue. I had his besties on Facetime and I was extremely nervous. When I mean I couldn't stand still and was sweating like a whore in church. I went to wake Chan up to help me with something outside I ran back outside and took my place at the end of the walk way. He walked out confused probably because Dontel and Quana wouldn't stop giggling. I nervously attempted to get the words out and then got on one knee (Cuz i'm traditional like that) and asked the man of my dreams to marry me.
