We're getting married!

It all began at Hank’s Bar in May 2022 — a place that would become the backdrop to our first hello and, eventually, the celebration of our forever. We both happened to be there for a friend, Coty’s happy hour. As Danielle walked through the door, RJ turned to his friends and said, “Dibs.” That playful moment was just the beginning. We connected almost instantly, discovering we had lived parallel lives — both from Puyallup, WA, just five years apart. Our shared hometown, goofy banter, and easy laughter quickly built a bond that felt both effortless and electric. It didn’t take long to realize we were onto something special. Six months later, we found ourselves wandering through the sunshine of Palm Springs on our first vacation together. We stayed at the Ace Hotel, which is why it has special meaning to us. And on this trip is where we first said “I love you.” That trip became a turning point — somewhere between poolside conversations and desert sunsets, we both quietly started to feel that this might just be it. On February 2, 2025, a snowy Sunday, RJ got down on one knee in the beautiful glass WW Seymour conservatory in Tacoma, WA, and asked Danielle to marry him. Of course, she said yes — and fittingly, we celebrated with our closest family and friends back at the place where it all began: Hank’s Bar. From “dibs” to "I do," we can’t wait to start this next chapter together — and we’re so excited to share it with you!
