Loren and Selena met at the school they work at--Parkside Intermediate School! Four years ago, Selena had just moved to the Bay Area from Sacramento and Loren was starting his 2nd year as a teacher. While they briefly exchanged names while preparing their classrooms, the first time they really met was at a Back to School party hosted at their principal's house in Pacifica, CA. One of their co-workers got stranded on their way to the party, so Selena offered to pick them up and Loren tagged along. Loren helped rearrange the stuff in the back of Selena's car to make room for another passenger and together they rescued their coworker!
