We're getting married!

We had known each other for a while before our first date. On a fall day in September, we met each other on central campus at Iowa State. We both brought our hammocks, but ended up only using one. We talked until the sun went down about anything and everything about our lives, our interests, and random things like looking at the sky through the leaves.

The day was spontaneous and intimate. Chase woke up that morning not knowing he was going to propose later that day. The sun was shining on a cold February day. We decided to spend some time outside and go hammocking at a local park near our apartment. We talked about our hopes for the future and the endless love we have for each other. Before I knew it, Chase was asking to spend the rest of my life with him and I was saying yes and crying my eyes out! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you.
