We actually go way back. We met so long ago that his mother, Ilaben, was at my mom's, Rupalben's, baby shower when she was pregnant with me! We grew up semi-together, always catching each other at different functions our family friends would host. His older brother Dipesh was best friends with my cousin, Sid. And Dhaval at the time was best friends with Arjun, Sid's younger brother. I was always close to Arjun and seeing as how Dhaval was too, we always hung out as kids. Fast forward a few years and all of us just stopped going to functions overall. It had been quite a long time since Dhaval and I had seen each other. With a twist of fate -- we reconnected in college! It was like a dream come true, we ended up getting closer than ever and eventually told our parents about each other and the rest...is history.
