You will find a historic, federal-style home, library & museum. Eleanor Roosevelt's primary residence is also nearby. 2. Culinary Institute of America- Just 3 miles away you will find the alma mater of Anthony Bourdain in Hyde Park, NY. Question

Will the bridal party also be staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Poughkeepsie?

Answer

Yes! We want this to be one big fat reunion and for both sides of the family to mingle and become friends. At the end of the day, this big celebration is not just a union of Anuj and Riya but a union of our families. in the spirit of spending as much quality time as we can, we will all be staying at the same hotel!

Question

How are people getting from the hotel to the wedding/reception venue?

Answer

We recommend carpooling to the ceremony! For those planning on indulging in alcohol at the reception, our venue was kind enough to allow for overnight parking for guests, so no pressure to drive back to the hotel. To encourage safety, we definitely advise Uber or Lyft though!

Question

Are our little ones invited to all events that we are invited to?

Answer

Yes! As a bride who's a pediatrician, we love your kids! All we ask though, is if your child needs a moment to cry out their feelings, that you step away until they calm so as to not disrupt the wedding ceremony/speeches
