Question

Are you still having your wedding?

Answer

Yes. The couple plans to go forward with their wedding as planned since NJ & PA are allowing weddings at this time. Safety guidelines will be followed in accordance with both states and CDC recommendations.

Question

Will there be shuttle services provided?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle bus service to try and make this day as smooth and relaxing for our guests as possible. Shuttle Bus Schedule: 1:00pm- Pickup from Hampton Inn Hotel in NJ. Shuttle will drop off at Saint Paul Church at approx. 1:35pm. 4:00pm- Departure from Saint Paul Church. Shuttle will drop off guests at The Estate at Monroe Venue in NJ at approx. 4:35pm then immediately head to the Hampton Inn Hotel. 5:00pm- The shuttle bus will depart from the Hampton Inn for those who wish to check in at the hotel during the gap between ceremony and reception. The shuttle bus will depart at 5pm and proceed directly to the venue by 5:15pm. 11:15pm- Shuttle bus will depart from The Estate at Monroe and drop off at the Hampton Inn The shuttle bus will not be taking guests back to Philadelphia. Uber & Lyft are in the area if needed.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are asking guests to wear semi-formal attire. Options may include: suit, tuxedo, button up shirt with tie/bow, blazer, slacks, evening gown, knee length or longer dress, pantsuit.

Will guests have to wear a mask?

Answer

Masks are to be worn inside the church during the ceremony. Masks are optional at the reception due to eating and drinking. We encourage guests to wear a mask if they plan to go on the dance floor. Both venues are taking all safety measures and are in compliance with CDC and state guidelines. Of course, guests are welcome to take whatever precautions they personally wish to take if they choose to attend our wedding.

When can I check into the hotel?

Answer

Standard check-in time is at 3:00pm and we encourage guests to check-in at the hotel between the church ceremony and the reception. Guests can also check in following the reception later in the evening. A shuttle bus will be picking guests up from the hotel who decide to check in after the church ceremony. The shuttle bus will depart from the front of the hotel at 5pm and head directly to the reception. The shuttle will return guests back to the hotel afterwards. Early check-in at the hotel may be available prior to the start of the church ceremony (2pm), but it is based on availability, so please call the hotel in advance to ask.

Are children allowed at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

We are respectfully asking that only guests 16 years of age or older are in attendance to the ceremony and reception.

How far is the reception venue from the church ceremony?

Answer

The Estate at Monroe, located in Williamstown, New Jersey, is approximately 25-35 minutes away from Saint Paul Church in Philadelphia.

Can I leave my car at the reception location (The Estate at Monroe) overnight?

Answer

Yes, you can leave your car overnight at the reception venue and pick your car up in the AM. Uber & Lyft are in the area for ride share alternatives.

Can I leave my car at the church parking lot overnight?

Answer

No. If you plan to leave your car in Philadelphia overnight, please park on the street. The parking lot is only accessible to guests until after the wedding ceremony, then the gates will be locked. The neighborhood where the church is located in is safe to leave your car parked on the street.

Will there be alcohol served at the reception?

Answer

Yes, our reception will have an open bar. Our cocktail hour will be from 5:00-6:00pm with dinner and reception to follow.

Can I take photos during the ceremony & reception?

Answer

We respectfully ask that no cell phones/cameras are out during our wedding ceremony inside Saint Paul Church. We would like to respect the space as well as let our photographer capture the moment without cell phones. You are welcome to take pictures at the reception and outside of the church.

Question

Will there be breakfast with the newlyweds?

Answer

Due to COVID, there will not be the option to have a sit down breakfast with the newlyweds the morning after the wedding at the hotel. The hotel is offering breakfast to guests in a grab and go fashion.
