What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2 p.m. Please allow yourself some time beforehand to arrive to the church and be seated.

Is there a dress code?

Semi formal to cocktail attire - but please come in whatever you feel most comfortable!

How far is the reception from the ceremony?

Answer

The Neptunian Women's Club (reception space) is 0.6 miles from American Martyrs Church (ceremony space). It is a 5 minute drive by car. There will be a shuttle service from American Martyrs Church for those needing transportation to the reception. Unfortunately, shuttle services will not be provided at the end of the night.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

American Martyrs Church (ceremony space) has an ample parking lot. The Neptunian Women's Club (reception space) offers limited metered street parking. Due to the popularity of downtown Manhattan on a Saturday night, we recommend using the provided shuttle service or Uber to get to the reception.

When is the reception over?

Answer

We would love to celebrate all night long! But unfortunately due to time limits, the reception will be over at 10 p.m. Downtown Manhattan has many late night bars, if you choose to keep the party going!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Regretfully, due to budget and space limitations, we are unable to afford all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Therefore, we please ask our guests to not bring a plus one, unless specifically named on their invitation. Thank you so much for understanding!

Are young children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our big day an adults-only event. Therefore, we please ask our guests to RSVP only for individuals specifically named on your invitation. Thank you for understanding our decision!

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, it will automatically be marked as a "no". We will miss celebrating with you but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!
