For Sophie, the whole day was one wonderful surprise after another. Daniel had been planning every detail to make it extra special and memorable. They spent the day in one of their favorite places, San Francisco! First on the agenda was getting Dutch Bros of course. Then they had a quick breakfast that was oh so delicious. With happy tummies they went ice skating to work off all the fried french toast and omurice they ate. After that they went to Golden Gate Park where they went on a pedal boat ride around Stow Lake. They took a stroll on Strawberry Hill (and I mean come on, how cute is that?!) and whilst stopped to take pictures on a little bridge, Daniel not so sneakily switched the camera to video to capture the special moment that was about to take place. He nervously said lots of sweet things about loving her and wanting a future together. He then pulled out a cute little red bag with a letter "S" on it, got down on one knee (formalities you know), and popped the long awaited question!...She said yes of course! After all that, it was time to eat again. For dinner they had the best Italian food ever at a hip little restaurant. It was so romantic and vibey and the focaccia bread was to die for. The final surprise of the evening was going to see the San Francisco Symphony perform A Charlie Brown Christmas. Daniel, being the ticket master, got them seats in the second row! They played many Christmas songs before the main performance but their favorite was Harry's Wondrous World. The show was spectacular. The orchestra, the chorus, the dancers, it exceeded all expectations. They ended their time in the city riding the ferris wheel on the pier. On the way home they wanted to buy a Paramore CD to listen to in the car but sadly they were unsuccessful. Stores hardly sell CD's now! They needed a late night snack and what a better way to the end the day than with nuggets from McDonald's. It was the best day ever and Daniel and Sophie will cherish it forever and always.
