We’ve always loved the "friends to lovers" trope, and it turns out, it's our story too. Our friendship began on a sweltering day at the Colorado State Fair, deepened during our Life Group in the fall, and blossomed into a relationship while everything else was frozen over in February. The thoughtfulness we treasured in one another as friends suddenly (or not so suddenly to those around us) proved to be the foundation of a deeper, sweeter love. Our relationship is the answer to prayers we’ve each prayed for years, and we rejoice in God’s blessing that it formed at the perfect time, within such a wonderful community. As we enter this next season of life, we look forward to reflecting Christ and His Bride, the Church, through our marriage.
