Hollywood Beach Broadwalk

Walking Hollywood Beach Broadwalk was something we did often when we first started dating and we still love a good beach day. This is a fun spot with lots to do for people with or without kids.

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park

For a quieter beach experience, this is a great option. We also enjoy the park activities here, like hiking and kayaking or just hanging out watching boaters go through the intercostal.

Water Taxi Fort Lauderdale

A fun way to see Fort Lauderdale by boat with plenty of stops for food and drinks along the way. We recommend boarding at the Hollywood stop and dropping in at 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar and Grill (which is conveniently right at the pickup spot) for a bite before you head out for the day!

Hard Rock Live (in Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood)

We don't care about the gambling but this venue has tons of great live events, concerts, comedy shows etc. If you like live events, definitely check out the schedule when you're in town and 10000% go to The Bol restaurant inside for awesome Asian food.

Thriller Miami Speedboat Adventures

For those looking for a faster paced boating experience and a way to get a taste of Miami, this is the move.

Rooftop Cinema Club South Beach

This place is a great hang! Come for a sunset movie on the rooftop. Bring a blanket, as it can cool down after the sun goes down. Save time to grab a drink and a snack up here before or after the movie.

Fern Forest Nature Center

Super quiet walking trails we enjoy walking through.

Pompano Beach Pier

Puttshack - Miami

Fun twist on mini golf - good for couples, kids, groups and right in the middle of downtown Miami if you're wanting to see other sights as well.

Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science

Beach House

This is the restaurant Ricky asked Emily to marry him at. The rooftop has great views to the beach, great service and a good selection of cocktails and food. Head down to the pier afterwards for tranquil ocean views.

Dragon City

Looks like a hole in the wall, but the food here is LEGIT. Definitely don't pass up the Salt & Pepper Squid. Delicious.

545° Bánh Mì Café

Amazing boba tea and great food. We're here often :)

Kilwins Pompano Beach

Emily has come to learn this is a beach chain staple in Florida. Go here for some ice cream or fudge on the beach.

Sr De Los Tacos

If you're in Miami and want some delicious tacos, we like this spot!

La Union Restaurant Of Fla

No frills but amazing Salvadorian breakfast and lunch. A frequent stop for us.

Thai On The Beach

Great views of the beach and delicious Thai food. Order the papaya salad and Thai coffee :)
