The Rittenhouse Canonigo's

We met at a hostel on a cold, December morning in Dublin. Madi booked a night at the hostel when her friend canceled on her unexpectedly. She randomly chose Egali Hostel. After booking for just one night, she was scouting for a free place to stay (as any good traveler would do), so she asked the handsome receptionist (David) if he had any friends who would offer up a couch. (...I wonder who is writing this story) David kindly sacrificed his couch for a few nights, but it was only a matter of minutes before David and Madi had hit it off (although there are several variations of this story in circulation... depends who you ask!). After six days, David asked Madi to be his girlfriend. After a couple of months of long-distance phone calls, the travel plans became a reality. They packed their bags and were off to travel around the world together - Spain, France, Vietnam, Thailand, New Zealand, Brazil, U.S, Portugal, and Italy. They were engaged in Lisbon, Portugal in June of 2018. After applying for the K1 Visa and waiting patiently for 8 months, they were finally accepted and moved back to Florida in April 2019 to get married legally and start planning this EPIC wedding that is about to take place! The funny thing about the morning they met is that it was the ONLY day David ever worked the morning shift the whole year... God has a sense of humor!
