Question

What is the weather like?

Answer

The weather will most likely be low 50's. Please keep this in mind when thinking about what to wear!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding will be semi-formal. For men, we ask that you wear a suit and tie. Bow ties are also acceptable. Suits can be any color as long as it is not listed as a color to stay away from. For women, we ask that you wear a dress that is knee-length or longer. Dressy separates and nice pantsuits are also acceptable. Please note that it may be chilly, so bringing a light jacket or shawl may be a good idea!

Question

Should I avoid certain colors?

Answer

Our wedding colors are lilac, sky blue, and pearl. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing those colors as it may clash. Please also note that white (including any shade variations of white) is reserved for the bride only. If you show up to the event and the main color of your attire is white, you will be asked to change prior to entrance into the venue.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We’re having an unplugged ceremony, and we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away during this time. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture the moment—we can’t wait to share the photos with you!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity restrictions if your invitation includes a guest by name or says, “and guest,” then yes—your plus one is invited! If not, we hope you’ll still join us solo for an amazing time!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, due to venue capacity restrictions we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children in the wedding party. We hope this gives you a chance to enjoy a relaxing night out!

Question

Will there be food served?

Answer

Yes! We are excited to share a meal with all of you. There will be snacks available during cocktail hour and dinner will be served during the reception.

Question

What if I have a food allergy?

Answer

We want all our guests to enjoy the celebration safely and comfortably! If you have a food allergy or dietary restriction, please let us know when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs with our caterer.

Question

Will there be drinks served?

Answer

Yes, drinks will be available after the ceremony. There will be both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the bar. We will be providing two drink tickets per guest that can each be redeemed at the bar for a complimentary drink. After that, it will be a cash bar.

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from posting photographs from our wedding until we have made our formal wedding announcement with our professional images.

Question

Will you be livestreaming your wedding?

Answer

At this time, we are unsure if we will be livestreaming the wedding. Some of the guests on our guest list are currently stationed overseas and we understand it may not be feasible for them to travel to the states for our wedding. While we would love to celebrate with everyone in person, we are still waiting to get RSVPs from guests to see if a livestream is something that is needed. We will be sure to update this FAQ once we know for sure!

Question

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered with Zola, Amazon, and Etsy. All registries can be found at the registry tab of our website!

Question

I have to travel to the wedding, do I need to bring a wedding gift or mail one to you?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift. If you'd like to give something, we’re grateful—but it’s totally optional. If you choose to get us a gift and you do not have our address, please reach out so we can give it to you! Our registry is already set up with our address, so if you purchase something from there it will send it directly to us! We will have a table at the wedding set up for cards if you would like to bring a card with you!
