We're Getting Married

We met the beginning of our sophomore year at Michigan State in one of our lab classes. Mark decided to sit next to Ashley the first day and luckily for them the professor stated "I hope you like your seats because these will be your seats for the entire semester." Throughout the first day of class, we chatted and learned we were from the same hometown and had many similar interests. We also talked all things Michigan State and found out we both lived in Cedar Village, one apartment building over. MSU is big and the walk home wasn't close, mopeds were popular on campus. As class wrapped up, Mark looked at Ashley and said "Do you want a ride home on my moped, so you don't have to walk?" It took a couple classes and moped rides home for Mark to finally ask for Ashley's number. We quickly became friends and later on started dating at the end of our sophomore year. As time went on at MSU, we enjoyed many tailgates, 220 Oakhill parties (if you know you know) and memories that will last a life time. We graduated together in 2019. After graduation, we did long distance for a year when Mark was working in Louisville. Mark eventually moved home and we enjoyed the years of our young 20's. After dating for 6 years, Mark proposed to Ashley in June 2023. Shortly after, we got a yellow lab, Moose and bought a house. We recently welcomed a rescue dog to the family named Ice. Life has treated us good the last 8 years we have known each other and we cant wait for what our future life holds!
