Things To Do
Jacob's Well Natural Area
Jacob’s Well is one of the most popular spots in Wimberley. The hole is about 140 feet deep and 4500 feet long and the preserve is on 81 acres of land. Open 8am-6pm daily.
Blue Hole Regional Park
Blue Hole Regional Park is open every day from 8 am to sunset. Admission is free. Recreational amenities include 4 miles of hiking trails, bike paths, picnic areas, playgrounds, sports fields, swimming, and more.
Cypress Creek Nature Preserve
7.24 acres of land along Cypress Creek into a protected preserve and nature trail. This park is located immediately east of the Wimberley Square, bordered by Cypress Creek and Old Kyle Road.
Wimberley Zipline Adventures
This is the longest zipline course in Texas and gives you a bird’s eye view of the surrounding hills, meadows and canyons. The course consists of 10 separate ziplines. Each tour lasts approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours and are by reservation only.
The Shady Llama
Open Wednesday-Friday; go enjoy a beer or cider and keep an eye out for their alpacas and miniature donkeys. A great place to enjoy the sunset with a view.
Wimberley Square
The Wimberley square, or “downtown” as locals call it, is full of shops containing décor, clothing, art, jewelry, plants, and more! While in town, stop by a local coffee shop for a pick-me-up.
"Old Baldy"/Prayer Mountain
The climb up to the top of Old Baldy consists of a 218-step limestone staircase, that will deliver you to a paved limestone viewpoint overlooking the beautiful Texas Hill Country.
Pioneer Town
Pioneer Town is a small replica town in Wimberley. They have an ice cream parlor, mini railroad, arcade, opera house, and more!
Wimberley Valley Winery
Do a wine tasting or grab a bite to eat at the Wimberley Valley Winery. Open 10am-6pm daily.
