FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The ceremony will be at a Vietnamese Catholic church, so a level of modesty is greatly appreciated. Many guests will also choose to wear traditional Vietnamese attire. The reception is at a separate venue where the dress code will be black tie optional. For women, this means long gowns or jumpsuits, and for men, a tux or suit and tie. As always, please reserve white, ivory, and any similar colors for the bride. Separate outfits for each event aren't required, but we see weddings as an excuse to dress up. We know you'll look great!

Question

What color are the bridesmaids' dresses?

Answer

The beautiful bridesmaids will be in a variety of blues, ranging from pale ice blue to dusty blue.

Question

Are children or plus ones invited?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with as many people as possible, due to venue restrictions, we respectfully ask that only those named on the invitation attend.

Question

Where and when are the events of the day?

Answer

The ceremony will be held at Holy Vietnamese Martyrs Catholic Church at 12PM, located at 4545 Timmers Way, Norcross, GA 30093. Cocktail hour will start at 6:00PM with the reception beginning at 7:00PM at Canton House, located at 2255 Pleasant Hill Rd, Duluth, GA 30096.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and the reception?

Answer

Feel free to take this time to freshen up, change, and get ready for a night of fun!

Question

How will parking work?

Answer

Both the church and the reception venue have ample complimentary parking.

Question

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be having family-style Chinese cuisine at Canton House, with light appetizers during cocktail hour. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns, please let us know at the time of your RSVP.

Question

Will alcohol be served?

Answer

Yes, we will be serving a selection of beer, wine, cocktails, and liquor. We hope you have a great time, but please consume responsibly and plan to Uber/Lyft/have a designated driver if you plan on indulging.
