Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 28, 2024. If we do not receive your RSVP by July 28th, you will be marked as "not attending". Due to the requirements of our vendors to receive a final head count in advance, we will not be able to accept late RSVPs. Please submit your online RSVPs prior to that date if you would like to celebrate with us - thanks for understanding!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We are going to be at Fisher Brewing the night before the wedding (Friday the 27th), from about 8pm to 10pm. We'd love to see anyone there for some extra time to spend together! There may be a little after party at Green Pig Pub (walking distance from hotel) after the shuttle drops us off at the end of the night after the wedding if folks are up to it. We will be at Snowbird Ski Resort's Oktoberfest celebration the afternoon after the wedding (Sunday the 29th). The festivities run from noon to 6pm. Please let us know if you will be around Sunday and will be heading up there so we can meet up. See the Schedule page for more details.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only and we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation. Please refer to your online RSVP for information on who is invited.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this event will be an adults only (20+) celebration.

Do you have any hotel recs?

Answer

Yes! We have a room block at Little America Hotel in downtown SLC. Please visit the Travel page for booking details and additional information.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a shuttle transporting guests from the designated hotel to the mountain. If you are arriving via car, please plan to arrive at the resort by 4:50pm at the latest in order to get on the gondola in time for the ceremony.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We will have transportation to and from the hotel listed on our Travel page. It is ~1 hour drive from the hotel to the resort. If you would like to utilize the transportation, please mark "yes" on the question in your online RSVP. The shuttle will pick guests up at 3:30pm on Saturday. Please note that there will not be ride share options available at the resort.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that all guests be in semi-formal attire for the ceremony and reception: suit and tie for gentlemen and cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or evening gowns for ladies. Please no denim or hats. For the Welcome Drinks, smart casual is welcome and jeans are fine. Our Photographer will be onsite taking photos as an FYI.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, you can park at the resort base parking lot if you are electing to not use the shuttle. Please note that other events at the resort are going on during the time of arrival so give yourself a little extra time to find parking.

I have a food allergy or food restriction, can I make a special request?

What's the weather like in Utah/at the venue in late September?

Answer

Temperature highs for SLC could range from low 60s to mid 80s with lows in the 40s or 50s in late September. We're going to be at a higher elevation for the wedding though so there is a chance of very brisk temperatures at the summit of Snowbasin. Ladies, we recommend a light jacket to accompany your outfits. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing are all slated to be outside but the latter two will be blocked from most winds with the glass walls. If we end up having rain or snow, we will move things indoors!
