If there is one thing that has always annoyed Rissi, it is that many men lie about their height on dating apps. After many failed dates with men under 5'7", she almost completely gave up hope...until she met Tyler. When she saw his picture on Bumble she could not swipe right fast enough! (It also didn't hurt that he is a professional Chef) A week later, Ris and Tyler met up for their first date, and to her pleasant surprise, he did not lie about his height. She was ecstatic to meet and get to know all 6'7" of him! All jokes aside, what really won her over during that first date was that they never ran out of things to talk about and he kept her laughing the entire night. The date went so well that they closed down the restaurant and decided to meet at the same spot the following night so they could pick up where they left off. Rumor has it, they're still talking and laughing to this day!

On a family trip to California, Ris was taken by surprise that she would be leaving this trip as a fiancé! Tyler had planned an EPIC proposal at The Getty Villa in Malibu and arranged for his family to fly out and be a part of their special day. Something Ris and Tyler both value is their family, and having them all be a part of their day made it even more special. The night continued with many margarita pitchers at a beachside restaurant and carnival rides at the Santa Monica Pier. Their adventure is far from over, Rissi and Tyler are anxiously waiting to celebrate their big day with all of you! But, until then, they are enjoying wine nights on their balcony, watching movies on their couch (if Ris can stay awake), and exploring the world together! See you in May!
