Rissa and Megan have been friends for over 15 years! They met in the first grade in Antelope, California and grew to be inseparable! They've gone on many trips together, including New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, and much more! Megan has been Rissa's best friend for so long, she couldn't imagine anyone else being her Maid of Honor.
Michael Rowan
Best Man
The first time Spencer met Michael Rowan, Spencer's mother brought him to Michael's house. While the moms were talking in the other room, Spencer and Michael were building a large structure together out of PVC pipe and other things. Upon completion, the 4-year-old Michael saw it fit to demolish their hard work. Spencer sees Michael as a brother and is so excited to have him as his Best Man!
Nico Torgersen

Nico Torgersen is Rissa's longest friend. Most siblings don't get along well, but that's not the case with Rissa and Nico. He's been there for her since her grumpy days when all she would do is talk in grunts. He was there for the Great Mud Pit of 2005 and the day that Rissa beat all his friends at AirSoft. Rissa loves her brother. He's the best big brother and best friend a girl could ask for and she's so excited that he's agreed to be one of her Bridesmen (AKA Bride Bros).
Jayden Olmeda

On the first day that Spencer met Jayden Olmeda, Jayden was new to high school choir class. Spencer befriended him and even helped to convince him to join the theatre group that he was in. The two spent most of their high school years together and Jayden has helped Spencer through a lot of rough patches in his life.

Megan Jones was part of the original movie-watching group that Spencer and Rissa hung out with all the time. She helped Rissa realize how much she really liked Spencer. She's been such an integral part of their lives these past few years and Rissa and Spencer are so grateful that she is going to be by their side.
Michael Aviles

Spencer and Michael Aviles went to the same high school together, but became much closer after Spencer returned from his mission to Riverside, CA. They spent a lot of time together in a volunteer position within their church.
LeeAna Alamo
Bridesmaid
LeeAna Alamo and Spencer have been friends since 1996, mostly because she is Spencer's older sister! In reality, Spencer has been the bane of LeeAna's existence since he was born. LeeAna isn't the hugging type, but she's got a soft spot for Spencer. She used to change Spencer's diapers and dealt with his crap long after that. In return, Spencer has been used as a medical dummy for LeeAna to practice her nursing skills on.
Jeremy Jones
Groomsman
Jeremy Jones was the reason that the movie-watching group was established. He had never seen the Star Trek movies before, which is unacceptable, so everyone got together so he could watch them! Spencer, Rissa, and Jeremy went together with some other friends to Marianna, FL to help clean up after a hurricane and spent a whole weekend bonding. Jeremy's been an active part of their lives ever since.
Jacob Montijo

Jacob Montijo and Rissa are as close as two cousins can be! Jacob is only a year younger than Rissa, so they've been best buds for such a long time. An instigator of the Great Mud Pit of 2005, Jacob and Rissa have been getting into trouble together since the early days.
Daniel Gonzales

Daniel Gonzales used to work at Disney World. He got Spencer, Rissa, and a group of friends into Disney for free one day. Although he hadn't intended for it to happen, Rissa and Spencer were paired up to sit next to each other on rides. They spent almost the entire day together. It's one of the reasons that they started dating, thanks to Daniel.
Josie Hefner

Josie was Rissa's first friend in Orlando, Florida. She was the mastermind behind getting Tim to switch spots with her so she could befriend Rissa. As it turns out, Rissa and Josie had moved to Florida around the same time! Funnily enough, Josie had actually served her mission in Sacramento, CA; right next to the little town where Rissa grew up!
Guillermo Gomez

Guillermo Gomez was also a part of the movie-watching group. He also went with Spencer and Rissa to Marianna, Florida for the hurricane clean up. Despite his crazy busy life, Guillermo has always been there for Rissa and Spencer. They can count on him and they're so excited for him to be part of their big day.
Emily Torgersen

Emily is the latest member of the Torgersen family. She married Rissa's brother Nico in July of 2019. They are a perfect match for each other and she fits in to the family really well. Rissa is so happy that she is her sister and is very excited that Emily will by flying with Nico all the way from Cedar City, Utah to be there for her!
Julian Alamo
Groomsman
Julian is Spencer's brother-in-law. He and LeeAna have been married since 2014. They have a little boy, Lincoln, together. Spencer refused to call Julian by his name for the first couple of months that he was dating LeeAna, for fear that he would call him by Julian's twin brother's name, John. Julian is a very caring person and is always willing to lend a hand.
Tim Hefner

The first time Rissa and Tim Hefner met, they were at a church get-together. Rissa didn't know anyone in Florida and sat down in the only seat available, which was next to Tim. Tim promptly got up and moved to a different seat away from Rissa and really hurt her feelings! Turns out, Josie (his fiancee at the time) wanted to sit next to Rissa and asked Tim to trade seats with her!
