Oaxaca International Airport

Oaxaca has a small, modern airport accessible by many American and Mexican airlines, including United, American Airlines, Delta, Aeromexico, Interjet, and Volaris. If connecting in Mexico City, allow yourself plenty of time to go through customs and security.

Airport Transportation

The historic, tourist center of town (where the ceremony and reception will be held) is located a short 20 minutes from the airport. Taxis in Oaxaca are safe and reliable, and always available at the airport. If you are feeling adventurous, consider taking a "colectivo" from the airport to your hotel. These are small, white vans that accept up to 5 passengers. (Think Uber Pool, but without the app.) For both taxis and "colectivos," please locate the "Taxi/Colectivo" booth directly outside of arrivals the airport. You will pay for your ride at the booth and be given a receipt before heading out to your ride. Alternatively, if you prefer to arrange for private transportation to meet you at the airport, please contact your hotel concierge.

Hotel

Quinta Real Oaxaca

A 16th century convent turned boutique hotel, and the location of our ceremony. It has a fantastic pool and is very central. There is also a gym and restaurant on site, but breakfast is not included. A two-night stay is required but the discounted price can be applied if you choose to extend your stay. Reservations for our hotel block cannot be made via the internet.
