About Us
We're so excited to celebrate our wedding day with the people who mean the most to us—thank you for being part of this special season in our lives!
It all started in Lawrence, Kansas. Risa was studying at KU and Jacob was working in Olathe. One great date turned into many and the rest is history!
Now we live in Olathe, KS with our sweet black cat, Honey. Risa works as an elementary school Speech-Language Pathologist, and Jacob is a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Husch Blackwell, a national law firm. We love spending time exploring new places, finding cozy coffee shops, and having game nights with friends.
Jacob proposed at the Overland Park Arboretum on a chilly April afternoon, surrounded by beautiful spring blooms, and of course, Risa said yes!
We’re so grateful for the love and support from our family and friends. We can’t wait to begin this new chapter and celebrate with all of you!
