Once upon a time we were childhood neighbors in Stetson Hills, running around the same streets as each other. We had handfuls of mutual friends, but never thought much of it at the time. We attended the same small elementary school together at 6 and 7 years old for a few years, riding the same school bus home and getting off at the same stop, which then led to eventually attending the same high school together years later. As life often does, it eventually took us in different directions, reconnecting briefly here and there. Years later at 24 and 25 years old, we found our way back to each other - through good ole faithful Instagram. A friend request soon turned into discreetly liking Instagram stories for a few weeks which then became a few DMs. It finally led us to our first date soon after back in March 2025. Reconnecting this time felt different. We hit it off and immediately became inseparable. What was supposed to be just a simple Swig run turned into a late night drive to Target and In-N-Out. We fell hard and fast for each other. Soon after, we started dating and the rest is history. We have shared so many exciting and tough seasons of life together in such a short amount of time and it has only made us grow closer to one another. We have celebrated each other's wins, supported one another through job changes, family losses, big life events, and then some. We are so grateful that God reconnected us when He did. We are so excited for this new journey as we become husband and wife, and we fall more in love with each other every single day!
