In the heart of the covid shut down Alex was about to give up on online dating and Emily was just logging in for the first time. Little did they know, it would be the last online dating match for the both of them. Alex and Emily matched and began talking on September 15th...which just so happened to be Alex's dad's birthday but also Emily's mom's birthday as well! A few days later with masks in tow, they decided to meet for a drink on an outdoor patio in Fort Worth. One drink turned into several hours of conversation and chemistry. The funniest moment of the first date was when the waitress walked over to sell raffle tickets. She turned to Alex and asked, "Would you like to buy your wife some raffle tickets?"
