It all began when two newly college kids got assigned to the same group in U.S. Government class. Their friendship formed off of a common interest in Jesus, Nacho Libre jokes, and Spongebob references. They laughed often and even got in trouble a few times because of how much they goofed off together. Robert invited Alison to church and from there, Alison was immediately plugged in. The two dated for a bit and went on spontaneous dates throughout the years. They always loved each other and Robby would often tell Alison, "I'm going to marry you one day!" Well, fast forward to December 2020, Alison and Robert decided to date with the intentions of getting married. They knew it was the right time and they knew they were never going to be without one another again. They are so excited to be getting married the day after a new year! Let's ring in the new year with this happy couple!
Robert always knew he wanted to propose to Alison on her birthday since it would be the first time they'd get to spend her birthday together! He surprised her with a birthday trip to Austin where they ate her favorite things (sweets, coffee flavored everything, and Asian food). On the way back to SA, Robert told Alison they would be going to a birthday dinner with the family but since they got ready early, they had some time to spare. Robert drove to the spot where they would meet up over the years & visit separately while thinking about each other, the King Williams Bridge. Alison thought they were going to waste some time & maybe take a few pics together, but little did she know that she would be getting proposed to! Robert popped the question while a photographer was hidden somewhere nearby to capture it all go down. They cried, laughed, kissed, & of course Alison answered, "HECK YA!"
