We're getting married!

As any 16-year-olds do, they attend driver’s ed. Just so happens Dylan and Aly both attended Defensive Driving School. Aly walked to classes as usual, and Dylan’s mom dropped him off. At first, they sat on opposite sides of the classroom until the teacher put them on the same side for a group assignment. That’s when Aly met Dylan and quickly learned his “jokes” were… interesting, to say the least. Sarcasm. Not many of her friends or family had that sense of humor, so it was definitely new to her. She's still not used to it... Aly played soccer at Dylan’s high school, so they started seeing each other after school too. Aly headed to soccer practice while Dylan went to football practice. The two stayed friends for about a year. And while their parents never believed they were “just friends,” they actually were. A year later, when Dylan asked Aly to be his girlfriend, she said yes! Eight years later, after many school dances and long distance, Dylan proposed on a beach in Mexico on September 12, 2024. Dylan and Aly are incredibly excited to get married this year and continue their life together!
