We're getting married!

We met for the first time at church but became friends hanging out at game nights and group adventures.

When the COVID-19 pandemic shut everything down, Nicole started having Brian and Michelle over for dinner every other Saturday night and they would watch the church sermon online. Memorial Day weekend Michelle went out of town and Nicole "forgot" to cancel on Brian so they ended up hanging out one-on-one for the first time. Brian asked Nicole what she was doing the next day so she invited him to walk on the beach with her in the morning and got breakfast afterward. Within a week he asked her out on an official date and the rest is history!

Brian came to visit the 1000 Islands and meet Nicole's parents. He asked for Nicole's hand and they helped him coordinate the big ask. They all went out for a sunset boat cruise and pulled into the harbor of Calumet Island, where Nicole's mom grew up. Brian got down on one knee and asked Nicole if she would be his wife. She said yes!!! The parents popped a bottle of champagne and we all enjoyed a cruise while the sun set.
