UPDATE:UPDATE:UPDATE: France will open to FULLY VACCINATED international travelers starting June 9th provided they show proof of a negative Covid test within 3 days of arrival. There will be no need to quarantine if you meet those guidelines. UPDATE: as of now, to return to the US you must also provide proof of a negative Covid Test. You can get a rapid antigen test done at the airport which guarantees results within 2 hours for 20 euros each. You must make an appointment (which you can do online) and also have a flight ticket for that day. Here is the website: https://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/passengers/services/covid-19-test-pcr-antigenic You may also get tests done at local Pharmacies throughout France. Since we are having such a small wedding, We want everyone to feel like they are apart of the wedding party, but it would look strange to have no one in the audience so we think it would be awesome if people found outfits that would compliment our wedding colors. Our wedding colors are apricot, terracotta, blush, with hints of burgundy. We have compiled a Pinterest board of ensembles to help you! Copy and paste the link https://pin.it/m7c7j6vqqdy73u and let us know if you get anything from it! We will take it off so there's no "Bitch stole my look" moments. Also, there may be some areas with grass that you may need to walk on so keep that in mind when picking shoes!
If your invitation designates a plus one then yes.
Unless you are immediate family or apart of the wedding party, you do not need to be at the ceremony until 6:30pm.
You can refer to our "Registry" page on our website. There are links to where we are registered there.
Please RSVP as soon as you can. Arranging a destination wedding is quite tricky and numbers need to be accounted for very early. The deadline is July 15, 2021
While we wish we had the means to feed everyone for the entire four days at the Château, unfortunately we are not able to do so. The Château has two kitchens we will have access to and a market nearby. We would love to have everyone pitch in and grab supplies to make easy meals for everyone to enjoy (bbq, sandwiches, pasta, etc.) The Château also has their own kitchen that makes food and I have read their breakfast is very good, but you will need to pay for it yourself. There are also restaurants nearby if you wish to explore the culture of the countryside.
All of our guests will be staying at the Château de la Flocellière in either the main Castle, Pavillion, or Keep. There are rooms that range to accommodate, 2 to 4 guests. Most couples will have their own rooms and singles may need to bunk together but the rooms have every amenity needed for a great stay including WiFi, towels, comfy beds, storage and access to bathrooms nearby or attached to your room!
A sense of humor and an adventurous attitude! It would also be a good idea to bring a converter for all electronics, comfortable walking shoes, bathing suits, tums/ibuprofen/medications you may need, a snazzy outfit for the wedding, sweaters for possible chilly nights, and of course your passport and ID’s for smooth travels. We will keep you updated if there is anything else specific you will need and please reach out if you have anymore specific questions!
