Who knew that a late-night Wawa run would change our lives forever? We were both on our way home from a night out and HAD to stop at Wawa before calling it a night. It was while walking around the store and snacking on some Smartfood white cheddar popcorn we bumped into each other (literally). He wasted no time making fun of me for the trail of popcorn I was leaving behind. We talked about where we celebrated St. Patrick's Day before winding up at Wawa at 3 am and then went our separate ways. Joe texted his friends shortly after that he met the love of his life. We met again a month or so later while both out with friends, and the rest is history.
On the anniversary of when we first met we had plans to visit Joe's parent's house in Mount Laurel to celebrate two of his cousin's birthdays (which we do every year around this time). While on our way there Joe received a call from his mom asking him to stop at Wawa (THE Wawa) and pick up a bag of ice. Joe "forgot," his wallet so I rushed in to give it to him. When I finally realized that everyone in the store went quiet and was staring at me I looked down and saw him down on one knee. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with you. See you in Pittsgrove!
