We both swiped right on each other, a very romantic and modern way to meet! After months of talking we finally met up for our first date at Charlies Kitchen in Harvard Square. We stayed there for hours talking and laughing before we finally decided to move on to another bar, then another. We went on a second date and a third. But being the busy people we are, after the third date we saw each other less and less until months went by without talking or seeing each other. At this point we assumed the relationship wasn't meant to be until November 10th when Greg texted Cassidy out of the blue with a classic romantic line... "hey what's up?" Classically, Cassidy replied, "It's my birthday"
The stars aligned, and Cassidy agreed to meet up at Earls Kitchen in Boston on one of their favorite holidays (Thanksgiving Eve), where Greg threw out a Hail-Mary and asked Cassidy if she wanted to take a trip to Chicago. It was at that moment the true love story between us would flourish. Unknown to Greg at the time, Chicago was Cassidy's favorite place! After an amazing weekend in Chicago, Cassidy and Greg decided to take another 48 hour trip to Montreal on Christmas Eve. (Their moms both *loved* this idea!!) Cassidy and Greg spent the next week with their own families, but met up again to celebrate New Years Eve. They both decided they loved spending all of the 'Eve's' together and they were becoming pros at the 48 hour trips.
It was only appropriate that on Halloween 'Eve', Greg woke up to make Cassidy breakfast in bed. He cooked all of her favorite foods and brought them up to her. He turned the overhead star projector on and they had breakfast together. After insisting that Cassidy MUST want dessert (even though she really did not), Greg went back downstairs and came back up with dessert - champagne and a ring. We can't wait to start the New Year saying 'I do' with all of you!
