March 2019: Allison finds out she is adopting Big Al in 24 hours. Allison tries to cancel on Mike in order to prepare. Mike offers to help shop, so the first date was at Bed, Bath and Beyond to get poop bags and a dog hammock for the car. Allison gets into Mike’s car without thinking twice. She asks him “please don’t kill me.” October 2019: After dancing the night away at a jazz lounge in Chicago, both Allison and Mike realize they found their soulmate (and also realize they hate deep dish pizza). March 2020: Mike starts moving stuff in so he can start living with Allison after their April trip to California. He plans on proposing at the Golden Gate Bridge. Then, lockdown begins so Allison's proposal happens at home in the basement. Allison tries to call her mom in NY to share the news. Her mom hangs up on her twice saying, "Shark Tank is on, call back later."
