In addition to comfy and centralized lodging, 21 C offers two great bars--one on its rooftop--as well as several contemporary art gallery spaces. The art doesn't stop in the lobby, though. Book a room, and you'll find the rooms literally covered in the work of local artists and artisans.
Our rehearsal dinner will be held in a working microbrewery with views of the Ohio river and both of Cincinnati's professional sports stadiums. The Moerlein Lagerhouse specializes in new takes on classic American fare and serves the very same beer that used to be bottled in what is now Rhinegeist's Brewery facility.
The wedding ceremony and reception will both be held within the Rhinegeist Brewery event space, but the entire 120-year-old brewery as well as its brand new rooftop deck (weather permitting) will be open to the wedding party. We invite you to enjoy some of the groom’s favorite beer on tap during cocktail hour and throughout dinner.
Cincy’s first “barcade,” is a heavy dose of ‘80’s nostalgia mixed with heavy liquor and garnished with a rocketpop. Anyone wishing to try their luck against the groom’s Street Fighter combos or the bride’s unrivaled button-mashing abilities is invited to take the streetcar with us to 16-Bit following the reception.
Street Tacos, silent Westerns, and craft cocktails are all on offer for a reasonable price in the heart of OTR’s shopping district. A standing table in the bar area allows for a quick meal and more time to take in the neighborhood.
Cincinnati’s favorite comfort/fast food has many locations throughout the city, but the groom’s favorite franchise (located at 290 Ludlow Ave., near Zach’s Alma Mater) slings chili-cheese-covered noodles until 5am most nights and has been known to cushion an oncoming hangover.
Serving small batch French pot ice cream in multiple locations throughout the city. The Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip is on of Oprah’s favorite things. The Bride loves it in a pretzel cone.
Fried chicken and beer hall. If you only have time to hit one brewery in town (ours!), the beer selection at The Eagle can make up for that. Pair their flight with some crispy chicken and house-made biscuits.
Home of the Midwest's choicest steaks.
A moody industrial setting plays host to a modern brasserie serving craft cocktails, seasonal entrees, and small plates. The Tuna Tartare and burrata small plates are highly recommended! Limited offerings from Sartre's menu are also available via a dumbwaiter that serves the Rhinegeist taproom.
The Bride’s favorite brewery is housed in a beautifully renovated cathedral and named for our chubbiest Commander in Chief (a Cincinnati Native). Taft’s boasts an excellent range of seasonal beers, both traditional and experimental.
Half music venue, half speakeasy Japp’s offers cocktails crafted by one of Cincy’s best mixologist.
Pickup a unique souvenir in this OTR clothing store or peruse the nearby shops and art galleries.
Known for its scenic location in Eden Park and its encyclopedic collection, the Cincinnati Art Museum boasts several notable works of 18th Century American Art and a unique “highlights of the collection,” room for those who have just enough time to pass through.
Celebrate America’s first professional baseball team and see a bronze Pete Rose slide into home at Cincinnati’s Great American Ballpark.
Visit Ohio's oldest continually operating farmer's market: A sprawling market concentrated around an original cast iron structure houses a beer garden with year-round locally sourced meats, produce, and ready to eat items.
Here you'll find a greenspace in OTR that plays host to maker's markets and provides room for kids to run around. Washington Park is bordered on one side by a beautiful example of Venetian Gothic architecture, the Cincinnati Music Hall. The surrounding Over The Rhine (OTR) neighborhood is the country's largest historic neighborhood and home to our wedding venue, Rhinegeist Brewery.
