Is the resort all inclusive?

Answer

Yes! Your room booking includes all meals, drinks, and alcohol throughout your stay at the resort. Enjoy all the restaurants, bars, pools, and amenities without having to worry about additional costs during your trip.

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay. Mexico does not require 6 months of validity, but we recommend checking your expiration date in advance to avoid any airline issues.

Although we adore your children, we decided to choose an adult only resort. We hope you take this as an opportunity to enjoy yourself!

Do I need cash?

Answer

Yes! We recommend bringing cash for tipping, as the staff is exceptional and greatly appreciate it. U.S. dollars are widely accepted, so exchanging for pesos isn’t necessary.

Is there a dress code on the resort?

Answer

Secrets Akumal maintains a casual elegance dress code for dinner at most restaurants. For evening dining, men are typically asked to wear long pants or dress shorts with a collared shirt and closed-toe shoes. Women can opt for sundresses, skirts, or dressy resort wear with sandals. Swimwear and wet clothing are not permitted in dinner restaurants. During the day, resort casual attire is welcome. We recommend packing at least one slightly dressier outfit for dinners throughout your stay.

Do I need to schedule transportation to and from the resort?

Answer

Yes! Airport transportation is not included with your flight, but it can easily be arranged when booking your room through our room block with Jet Set Travels. Once your flights are then booked, simply provide your flight information to them and transportation will be arranged to and from the resort for your arrival and departure.
