Someone's having a wedding!

I was big into CS: GO at the time. I’d play it for hours after work, before work, etc... One day, I meet this dude playing as well, and he says, in the deepest voice ever, “My name is palidamus (pal•a•day•mus),” after everyone’s been trying to pronounce it. We ended up becoming friends on the game that night, but the funny thing is that, I actually was talking to someone else that entire night, though I ended up with Peter as my friend. Anyway, we go on, and I end up messaging Peter, mind you, I thought he was like chubby and had glasses (just usually what I think of gamer dudes tbh). Boy was I wrong. I remember messaging him, “Can I get your number? Can I have it? Can I have your number?” aka the MadTV skit everyone knows....except Peter! Haha, well, this boy gives me his number, and the rest was history.

It was short and sweet and made me kind of teary eyed. I sat in our new living room, on the couch, pretty positive i was watching Netflix when all of a sudden I was just overcome with this feeling of "holy shit (sorry, mommy and daddy), i want to spend the rest of my years with this man." So I just say, "Peter, when do you want to get married." And he answers me, from his office, "I don't know....sometime next year." Like....that's all it took. I was so shocked and elated and thrilled. It was the best moment of my life.
