We met in high school on a mission trip to Mexico while helping to build an orphanage for Ninos de Baja. Trevor was a senior attending the Christian Church of Thousand Oaks (CCTO) while Nicole was a sophomore attending Newbury Park First Christian Church (NPFCC). While we didn't begin taking an interest in each other until after we returned from Mexico, little did either of us know we had just met the person we were going to marry 9 years later!

We planned a week trip in Montana to visit Trevor's aunt and uncle while also excited to do a bit of camping in Big Sky Country. This trip happened to overlap with Nicole's birthday. While camping at Flathead Lake on her birthday, Trevor got down on one knee by the lake at sunset and asked her to marry him... and she said yes! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you soon!
