Can I fly straight to Boracay from the US or Canada?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. Our best recommendation is to fly to Manila and stay there for a day or two, before flying to Boracay. There are multiple flights from Manila to Caticlan (closest airport to Boracay) or Kalibo airport. Please reach out to our wedding coordinator for more guidance.

What is Beach Formal attire?

Is it required to book at Shangri-la Hotel for the wedding?

Answer

Not at all. There are many hotels in the island of Boracay that you can choose from. Booking a room at Shangri-la just makes it more convenient. Please be mindful though of how far of a walk your hotel is to Shangri-la.

Do I need to learn the Philippines' native language, Tagalog, for me to have a good time?

Answer

Knowing some words/greetings in Tagalog is always a plus! However, around 94% of Filipinos speak English as their second language.
