FAQs

The Wedding Website of Rebecca Ohlman and Robert Riley
We’re so happy you’ll be joining us in Paso Robles to celebrate our wedding! To help you plan your visit and enjoy a relaxed, fun-filled weekend in wine country, we’ve gathered answers to some frequently asked questions below. We’re so looking forward to raising a glass and celebrating together.
Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive at the venue by 3:00 PM to allow time for parking, entering the venue, and finding a seat. To ensure the ceremony remains uninterrupted, late entry will not be permitted once the ceremony has begun. Please note that restrooms are not available at the ceremony site, but will be available during cocktail hour and at the reception—so be sure to plan accordingly before arriving.

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

Yes! The venue offers plenty of complimentary parking conveniently located near the ceremony site. Following the ceremony, guests will enjoy a short shuttle ride to the reception space for cocktail hour, dinner, dancing, and drinks. After the reception, shuttles will return guests to the parking area. If needed, cars may be left overnight until Sunday evening (June 21). Rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are also typically available to and from the venue.

Question

Are there nearby accommodations or hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We’ve listed two hotel options in the Travel section of our website for your convenience. Paso Robles and the surrounding areas also offer a wide range of hotels, inns, and house rentals to suit different preferences and group sizes. Nearby areas such as Atascadero and Templeton are a short drive from the venue and have additional lodging options. We recommend booking accommodations early, as summer is a popular time in the region.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we truly love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of a few family members. We kindly ask that guests only bring those formally included on their invitation. We hope this gives you the opportunity to enjoy a night off, make it a date night, and relax while celebrating with us. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally included on your wedding invitation. If a plus-one has been reserved for you, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. We kindly ask that no additional guests be brought beyond those listed. Thank you for helping us keep our planning on track.

Question

Will food and drinks be provided?

Answer

Yes! Guests will enjoy a hosted cocktail hour, followed by dinner and drinks throughout the evening, and plenty of time for dancing.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes—our dress code is Garden Party Formal. We invite guests to dress in elevated, festive attire that feels polished yet seasonally appropriate for a vineyard celebration. This may include floor-length or midi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and suits or sport coats in light or summer-appropriate colors, as well as floral prints or soft patterns. To help maintain the formal atmosphere of the day, we kindly ask guests to avoid casual attire, including jeans, shorts, sneakers, flip-flops, athletic wear, t-shirts, distressed or ripped clothing, baseball caps, and casual sandals. Think refined, elegant, and breezy—perfect for a Paso Robles vineyard on the first day of summer. As portions of the event will take place on grass and vineyard terrain, comfortable, dressy footwear is recommended.

Question

What’s the weather like, and will events be outdoors?

Answer

June in Paso Robles typically brings warm, dry, and sunny weather. Our coordinator expects temperatures to be in the 80s °F on June 20, with sunshine during the day and cooler conditions in the evening. It can become breezy in the evening and into the night, while rain is very unlikely this time of year. The ceremony and dinner will take place outdoors, with cocktail hour, bar service, and tables located outside as well. Dancing will be held inside the barn, offering a comfortable indoor space as the evening continues.

Question

What is the timeline of events?

Answer

Below is a general outline of the day: 3:30–4:00 PM — Ceremony 4:00–5:30 PM — Cocktail Hour 5:30–7:00 PM — Speeches & Dinner 7:00–9:30 PM — Dancing & Celebration 9:30–10:00 PM — Last Call & Send Off Guests are encouraged to arrive by 3:00 PM so everyone is seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 3:30 PM.

Question

What if I miss the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that all RSVPs be submitted by May 1. If we do not receive your response by that date, your RSVP will be marked as “no.” While we would truly love to celebrate with everyone, we’re required to provide final guest counts to our vendors within their set timelines. We’re so grateful for your understanding and appreciate you helping us make our planning process run smoothly.
